The Isle of Man has just over 96 miles of diverse coastline with an exceptional variety of marks ranging from sandy beaches through to rocky headlands and everything else in between. There are many breakwaters and piers on the Island offering easy access to very good and varied fishing. The island has a stunning range of rock marks for the adventurous angler around the south and eastern coasts providing exciting and varied fishing. There’s a chance of double figure Calig (Pollack), Coalfish, Cod, Ling, Conger, L.S.D’s, Bullhuss, Mackerel and Wrasse which all feed amongst the prolific kelp communities which surround many of the rock marks. The northern beaches offer everything a beach angler could ask for with all species available including Tope, Bass, Cod, L.S.D’s, Cod, Coalfish, Mackerel and Whiting.
It would be impossible for me to describe all the potential fishing marks in the Isle of Man but I am hoping to together a fairly comprehensive list with information on a wide selection of marks around the Island as time permits.
