Species Hunt

There is a wide variety of species that can be caught from the Manx shores and I’ve often wondered just how many species I can catch with a rod and line in a year. Naturally I will be targeting the highly sought after species such as Tope, Conger, Bass but I will also be pursuing a multitude of mini-species that can be caught from the shore. There are a few notable British species that are rarely caught from the Manx shores such as any variety of Rays, Smoothhounds, Garfish and the Bream family. Our seas are changing so who knows what may turn up in the future.
